ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kim Juyoung’s method involves using a persona to metaphorically narrate his thoughts on happiness. For example, the persona of a fish out of water, resembling the emotions of young people when they start careers. A fish fears the land but eventually overcomes it with excitement and curiosity. The work explores these positive emotions and suggests positive mindset is the beginning of happiness.
