ABOUT THE ARTIST
Toshio Saeki (b.1945) is a painter and illustrator, who is also known as “Godfather of Japanese Erotica”. His works, launched in the 1970s, depict unbridled explorations of violence, death, and sex, capturing the post-war spirit of cultural rebellion and social reinvention. His works are widely collected of musicians and artists.
