ABOUT THE ARTIST
Zhang Hua (b.1964) creates fresh and graceful sculptures. Zhang intensifies spatial narration with props and uses lengthened moulding. With crisp flowing lines, the artist creates a visual impression of his subjects flying to an idealistic land. Extenuated limbs and bodies, motion, and youthfulness in Zhang’s works represent hopes, energetically rushing towards the future with dreams of reaching their final goal.
