ABOUT THE ARTIST

Alvin is an Interior Design graduate from Manila, Philippines.. He is a serial winner in various national art competition which he started to join during his university days.

Alvin eschews the paintbrush and instead uses various sandpaper techniques- a process that he developed himself. His paintings are considered narratives. each with their own stories and each element having a special meaning Flowers and birds often feature in his work which are then balanced visually with a forest background. He has had numerous group exhibits including in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong.
