ABOUT THE ARTIST
Marie Larraine Weir (b.1944) is an established award-winning contemporary artist. Weir is known for her oil paintings that capture the essence of Sydney’s industrial past: Cockatoo Island and the Waverton Coal Corridors in Sydney, Victoria’s Limestone Coast, Darwin’s Secret Wartime Fuel Tunnels, and the rugged Western Australian Kimberleys.
