ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ahlam Alshedoukhy (b.1962) is a Canadian board certified pathologist, and head of department of pathology at Al Faisal University’s College of Medicine. While working on her specialization she began painting, and began her journey through science to art – to find the place where the two finally meet. She now paints daily; her emerging style is influenced by post-impressionism and realism, with a minimalistic approach to both.
