ABOUT THE ARTIST
Wei Xiaowei (b.1989) is a Chinese contemporary ink artist. For Wei, woman should convey a kind of beauty, the beauty of the flow of the music. The artist imbues his ink portraits of contemporary women with traditional sensibilities, as a reminder of the beauty ethos that many women living in today’s fast-moving world have lost.
