Oh Young’s (b.1969) artististic practices are influenced by her thoughts and feelings which are very personal and pictorial, manifesting in shapes and motifs in her paintings. Oh’s works are created through a combination of drawing and oil painting on hanji canvas (Korean paper mounted on canvas), evoking a narrative made of signs, noises and murmurs.
