Myeong Ok Han

South Korea

Myeong Ok Han's painting are inspired by his mother and hometown. For the artist, a mother is a symbol of unlimited love and the hometown is an eternal comfort zone which always welcome him. Han uses the five traditional colours (blue, red, yellow, white and black), and draws a moon pot, pine trees and red-crowded cranes as a representative of Korean traditional patterns.
