Mark was born in Ipswich in Suffolk, England in 1961. Mark was brought up having a natural love for the countryside and all it contains including the wildlife and the ever changing seasons within a peaceful setting. His inspiration comes from the country side, and he finds that Scotland being a lovely country for wonderful scenery from the mountains to the the coastline of golden sands and rugged cliffs is a perfect location for him to paint.
