Karen Foster has become fascinated with the mysterious world of performance since the late 1990's. She has also travelled all over Australia to document shows and festivals in my sketch books. She has been experimenting with lots of colors in oils and pastel and met wonderful people such as magicians, sword swallowers, fire dancers and contortionists over the last 10 years. Karen has a unique sense of colour very much like the famous ‘Venetian colourists’.
