ABOUT THE ARTIST
Emmanuelle Levesque(b.1978) uses a knife to maintain a crude gesture, structuring the space and giving more intensity and energy to her work. Levesque particularly likes colour saturation and sometimes shocking contrasts, while also admiring clean and poetic work. Open to exploring new techniques, Levesque shows a fondness for oil painting which she continually returns to. The artist develops her own pigments and finds new relationships of color.
