ABOUT THE ARTIST
Bai Yu paints water-flourished stones, they are like water drops penetrating a stone; the monotone tuning of the piano. Since water-stones are solid in texture and thick in density, Bai uses repeated brush strokes and ink dyeing to create the desired impression. The artist uses silk as canvas for the paintings to provide an airy atmosphere to the composition.
