SECTOR HIGHLIGHTS AT THE SHOW

As the largest and longest running hotel art fair in Asia, the Asia Contemporary Art Show welcomes new and repeat visitors to every edition. Findings from an exit survey of the most recent Show indicates that the majority of visitors are regular art buyers who have bought artwork in the past 12 months.

The art living spaces within the hotel have proven to be popular with visitors, providing intimate spaces to view artwork, and helping them imagine how an artwork would look in a home or work place.

The Show works closely with exhibitors, promoting their artists through extensive PR, marketing promotions and social media outreach.

The 14th edition of the Show will also feature Intersections: China and Artist Dialogues

Intersections: China presents a series of dynamic and diverse works by selected galleries, artists and artist collectives that use concepts, techniques, materials or subject matter drawn from the past and re-envision them to reflect the present, find inspiration from traditional arts and reinterpret them for today’s sensibilities, or combine Western artistic genres with Chinese aesthetic forms.

Artist Dialogues dedicates to artists exhibiting in a solo or joint presentation. A select 20 art spaces will offer artists an intimate environment to sell their work, as well as articulate their inspirations and artistic practice into a seeing and learning experience. Artists will also have the possibility to secure potential future commissions and special projects, or collaborate with other artists and galleries.
